Ubuntu founder Mark Shuttleworth gave interview to LifeHacker. It is very interesting to hear him and his views. He touched on several issues, where Ubuntu is heading, how he uses Linux in his daily life, deal with Dell etc.
First, let me say that Mark is awesome fellow, since I heard of him he was inspiration and role model in many ways. He is modest and brings common sense to discussion. Taking into account what he had accomplished so far, he realistically views role of Linux and especially Ubuntu in future computing. I found interesting how he refers to Mac and it’s users, without any pun. I would agree that power users find Ubuntu much more to their taste then any other platform.
Anyway, great to see him present advantages of Linux and Ubuntu at LifeHacker traditionally Mac productivity focused blog.
